Things an extremely customizable task manager that would be hard to live witthout

Bamboo Paper for hand writing, note taking, drawing, and everything else usually done with a writing/drawing/painting  instrument and paper.

Notability  for notes and general word processing when Pages is just more than I need.  Lots of people like the Evernote bundle of apps, but it's more than what my life requires.  Notability has been excellent.

Text Expander for using your own snippets to fly through word processing.

Total Recall for mind mapping.  If you have ever felt restricted by text outlines for a project, try mind  mapping. It's a visual representation of text outlines.

Drafts allows you to start typing or dictating immediately - no more drilling through folders or swiping to get to the app you need to write in. Capture your info immediately in Drafts and move it where it belongs when you have time.
